The UDI Group Foundation focuses its activities primarily on supporting Czech culture and preserving its unique heritage. We believe that culture is the soul of a nation – and that is why we want to be there when it is created, protected and passed on.
One of the main pillars of the Foundation's activities is supporting the legacy of the little-known but all the more significant composer Jan Dismas Zelenka, whose music is a hidden gem of Czech Baroque that deserves greater attention not only in our country but also around the world.
Other activities of the Foundation include publishing books that preserve and pass on Czech cultural traditions in various forms. The Foundation seeks out topics and authors –both contemporary and historical – whose works have something to say to today's society. We believe that it is precisely these stories, ideas, and values that deserve to be heard, read, and shared.
At the same time, the Foundation actively seeks out other opportunities to support Czech culture – whether through musical projects, exhibitions, community initiatives, or collaborations with creators who share its vision. It wants to be a partner that helps culture grow, resonate, and touch people.
Supporting culture is not a gesture for us, but a deep conviction. We believe that culture is what we can build on—values, relationships, and the future. That is why it is a natural part of the UDI Group's philosophy: We are building a world that makes sense.
